Art on The wall - Part 3
The Emotional Palette: Food Memories in Watercolour
In this 3 part creative series, participants will explore their personal connection to a meaningful dish by expressing the emotions it carries - using colour, shape, and abstract elements to tell its story. Iara will guide you through the use of various watercolour techniques and colour theory, to paint a cherished culinary memory, and to convey its deeper meaning in your life.

The Last Supper Club
An evening of table, story, quiet wonder, and worship.
We’ll set the table with care; share a meal crafted by Feast & Fallow; and linger in the kind of conversation that invites us deeper into ourselves, into one another, and into the mystery that holds us. This is not a performance or a program — it’s a space to arrive, to breathe, to be met by something larger than words.

Ash Wednesday
Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the season of Lent: The symbolism of “ash” is a powerful sign of repentance in Scripture, where putting on “sackcloth and ashes” is an outward symbol of deep contrition and mourning (e.g., Matt 11:21).
Jesus spent 40 days in the wilderness, being tempted by the enemy of his soul, resisting the Devil, and fasting and praying. So, for the 40 Days of Lent (Ash Wednesday – Easter Saturday, Sundays excluded), we examine ourselves, deny ourselves, and repent.
We spend time in deep confession and self-examination, seeking to build a pathway of intentional self-discipline for the season of Lent: following the way of Jesus.
Join us for midday (12 noon) services on February 18, Ash Wednesday.
➕A solemn service. ➕

Samuel Andri, VST staff, will take part in preaching, inviting us to share in this meaningful exchange between theological education and congregational life.
This service also marks the Sunday of the Word of God, observed on the Third Sunday in Ordinary Time.
